December 2014 Members’ Exclusive
Happy holidays! As we wind down the year, it’s a great time to review how you’ve used LinkedIn over the last year…and to think about what you can do even better in 2015. Let’s jump in!
1. LinkedIn Self Assessment (8:31)
I’ve generated a list of about 20 things that you should really be doing to be using LinkedIn to its fullest. Although the list is available to everyone, I want to give you a more detailed walkthrough of how to use the self-assessment. As I worked through the self-assessment, I discovered some elements of my profile that I could improve, and I’ll help you to improve your profile as well.
2. Editing Your LinkedIn Profile on the Fly (3:15)
One of the newest changes to LinkedIn is the ability to edit your profile “on the fly.” Editing your profile now is faster than ever, and moving pieces of your profile around is easier than it used to be. But, the new change also alters how you can add material to your professional gallery, so in this video I’ll show you how to use the new editing mode.
3. Book Reviews: Youtility and Duct Tape Selling (2:46)
I want to share with you great resources for improving your sales strategy on LinkedIn. In this video, I’ll tell you about two books that I’ve personally found extremely helpful: Youtility by Jay Baer and Duct Tape Selling by John Jantsch. I encourage you to check these books out!
