Hello subscribers! This month, I have some great tips to share with you. We’ll talk about the top-ranked feature in my annual LinkedIn survey, I’ll show you a number of changes that LinkedIn has made recently, and I’ll share with you one of the websites that I keep visiting for their free sales materials. Let’s get started!
1. Profile View Rankings (5:55)
The feature that finally got me to upgrade to LinkedIn’s premium account was the ability to see who’s viewed your profile, and in my annual survey it is the top-ranked feature on LinkedIn. In this video, I’ll show you the Professionals Like You feature, which is a great way to identify other people in your space and to learn from what they are doing well.
2. Reviewing Recommendations (3:17)
The recommendations are not just a great way to build your profile; they are also an important tool for understanding your prospects. In this video, I’ll teach you how to craft your sales strategy based on the insights you learn from a prospect’s recommendations.
3. Premium Profile Banner (1:43)
Until recently, the profile banner feature was limited to premium accounts. Recently, LinkedIn opened up this feature to everyone. In this video, I’ll show you how you can set your profile banner in order to help you stand out and visually reinforce the image you are creating.
4. Connection Invitation Changes (4:21)
LinkedIn is currently changing its invitation system. Because the changes aren’t visible to everyone, I’ll tell you what to watch out for so you can continue to send Five Star connection requests.
5. Sales Benchmark Index website (1:29)
If you’re not familiar with the Sales Benchmark Index, you should be. SBI has an incredible collection of resources, blog posts, and tools for sales work, including a number of LinkedIn-specific resources. I’ve used many of these tools in my LinkedIn sales classes. This site is definitely worth visiting.
