September 2014 Members’ Exclusive
Welcome to the Members Only part of the Explode Your Revenue course. This is the first month’s installment of my member-only content. In these videos, I’m going to share with you new features, tips, and ideas about how you can use LinkedIn more effectively.
1. Welcome (3:09 video)
In this video, I want to walk through the parts of my website so that you can make sure you’re taking full advantage of all the resources Power Formula has to offer. I’ll also give a quick outline of what we’ll cover in the other four videos.
2. Field of Study (4:23 video)
The Field of Study feature just came out in July. It was initially designed for students to discover professional opportunities, but I think it’s a great tool for recruiters and sales folks as well.
3. Searching Published Posts (3:24 video)
Now that LinkedIn is encouraging people to publish articles directly on your profile, there is a ton of great information available in LinkedIn’s articles. In this video, I’ll show you how to search the published posts to identify key ideas and thought leaders.
4. Downloading Data (3:03 video)
LinkedIn has expanded the range of data that you can download from your account, including your comments, search queries, and of course your contact database. You’ll want to put this into your schedule every quarter—not just for your own data backup, but also because there is a lot of information here that will be useful for your sales and marketing efforts.
5. Introduction to Koka Sexton (1:58 video)
There’s a lot of growth in social selling, and one of the big authorities in this area is Koka Sexton. Sexton is in charge of LinkedIn’s social selling efforts, and he posts a lot of valuable content that will help you sell more effectively using LinkedIn and other social tools. I encourage you to send him a connection request so you can get updates directly from him on trends in social selling.
Finally: remember that you can send me your questions at wayne@powerformula.net, and I can answer common questions in future installments.
Good luck, and happy selling on LinkedIn!
